Working with Mining Our Future
What types of mining projects benefit most from documentary-style storytelling?
Documentary-style storytelling works best for exploration companies, developing projects, and producing mines that need to explain a complex operation to a non-technical audience. It is especially useful when a project sits at the center of an investor decision, a permitting conversation, or a community-relations effort. Mining Our Future films the people, the geology, and the end products a mine makes possible, so the story lands with investors, regulators, and neighbors alike.
How does Mining Our Future help improve investor and stakeholder engagement?
Mining Our Future turns a project's technical story into video that investors and stakeholders actually want to watch. Instead of a slide deck, a company gets footage of real operations, the people running them, and the metals-to-product chain that explains why the work matters. That context helps a broader audience understand a project without needing a geology degree.
What is included in a mining video production project?
A mining video production typically includes on-site filming, interviews with the team, drone and B-roll of the operation, and an edited piece built for the channels a company already uses. Deliverables scale with scope, from a single company profile to a recurring series and a library of clips. Exact inclusions depend on the sponsorship level or a custom package, which are laid out on the Partners page.
How can video support ESG and community relations?
Video supports ESG and community relations by showing, not just claiming, how a project operates and how it affects the people and places around it. Footage of reclamation work, local hiring, and safety practices gives a community a clear window into the operation. It also gives a company a durable asset to share with regulators, neighbors, and the public.
How do I pitch a story or arrange a mine visit?
Reach out through the Partners page or email rob@miningourfuture.com with the project, the location, and what you would like covered. Rob reviews mine-visit and story pitches directly, and sponsorship partners get priority access to the convoy's schedule. You can also book a call to talk it through before committing to anything.
Is Mining Our Future coverage investment advice?
No. Mining Our Future produces media and educational content, not investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Some companies we cover also sponsor the tour or compensate us for coverage, and when that is the case we disclose it. Always do your own research and read a company's public filings before making any investment decision.
The tour, the podcast, and the movement
What is the Hunting Hidden Treasures tour?
Hunting Hidden Treasures is Mining Our Future's Season 1 documentary series, an 11-episode run following a two-vehicle convoy across six Western states. Each stop pairs a legendary mine with the end-users its metals power, from gold and silver to copper, uranium, and rare earths. The route covers Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, and Season 1 hits the road in 2026.
How do Mining Our Future sponsorship tiers work?
Sponsorship runs across 6 levels, from the Supporter tier at $1,500 a year up to the flagship Mine Builder tier at $150K+ a year. Higher tiers roll up everything in the level below and add deliverables like episode presence, a podcast guest seat, B-roll usage rights, and branding on the tour vehicles. Each level has its own page with the full deliverables and how to come aboard.
Where can I watch or listen to Mining Our Future?
The Hunting Hidden Treasures series and the Earth to Industry podcast will be available on YouTube and major podcast apps as episodes release. Season 1 hits the road in 2026, with new episodes and podcast conversations posted here on the site. Follow the Podcast page for the latest drops and subscribe links.
