NevGold Pushes Limo Butte More Than 100 Metres East: 7.27 g/t Gold Equivalent Over 3.0 Metres in Nevada

Limo Butte keeps growing east. NevGold reported on October 22 that new gold-antimony assays from its 2026 drill program have extended oxide mineralization by more than 100 metres east of the Resurrection Ridge resource — on both sides of the pit shell drawn around the mineral resource estimate released on July 15, 2026.

At a glance
  • LB26-011: 7.27 g/t AuEq over 3.0 metres (6.18 g/t gold, 0.28% antimony) within 1.55 g/t AuEq over 32.0 metres (0.92 g/t gold, 0.16% antimony).
  • LB26-008: 8.04 g/t AuEq over 3.0 metres (0.36 g/t gold, 1.98% antimony) within 0.42% antimony over 42.7 metres.
  • LB26-015: 0.65 g/t AuEq over 132.6 metres (0.18 g/t gold, 0.12% antimony) from surface, including 0.73 g/t AuEq over 67.1 metres and 2.35 g/t AuEq over 7.6 metres.
  • Program scale: about 50 holes and 12,000 metres completed to date in 2026, with 38 holes still pending assays; roughly 20,000 metres are planned for the year, focused on the Bullet Zone / Armory Fault discoveries and resource conversion.
  • Funding and study: NevGold reports more than $43 million in treasury, and its preliminary economic assessment is targeted for completion in Q1 2027, with metallurgical testwork ongoing and early permitting in process.

Two metals, one eastward push

The pattern in this batch is consistent: the high-grade cores are short — 3.0 metres in both headline holes — but they sit inside much broader oxide intervals, and the antimony is doing real work in the equivalent grades. LB26-008's headline, for example, is mostly an antimony result (1.98% Sb with 0.36 g/t gold), while LB26-011's is mostly gold (6.18 g/t Au with 0.28% Sb). Together they describe a system where gold and antimony trade places as the driver, hole by hole, as drilling steps east under the dolomite thrust the company is targeting.

The honesty box

Lengths are downhole thickness; NevGold states true width is approximately 70% to 90% of downhole length. Gold equivalents are calculated at US$3,000 per ounce gold and US$40,000 per tonne antimony, with assumed recoveries of 80% for gold and 75% for antimony — change the prices or recoveries and the AuEq grades change with them; the underlying gold and antimony grades are reported separately above for that reason. Mineralization inside and outside a resource pit shell is still drill-defined mineralization, not reserves, and the Q1 2027 PEA is a target date for an early-stage study, not a production decision. Thirty-eight holes are still pending, so this picture will change.

What to watch

The pending 38 holes, whether the eastward extension holds together in a future resource update, metallurgical results for the gold-antimony oxide material, and delivery of the PEA in Q1 2027.
