Nevada Organic Phosphate Steps Out Another 315 Metres at Murdock Mountain With Hole MM26-11

Nevada's phosphate story keeps walking along strike. On October 8, Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP) announced the start of drill hole MM26-11 on Pad 13 at its Murdock Mountain Project in northeast Nevada, the next step-out in its 2026 program.

At a glance
  • MM26-11 collars 315 metres (1,033 feet) beyond MM26-10 along the same strike trend. In its August 26 update, the company reported the Upper Phosphate Zone was intersected in MM26-10, extending known strike to over 3 kilometres.
  • The target is the Upper Phosphate Zone, interpreted as a laterally extensive, near flat-lying sedimentary horizon within the Meade Peak Member of the Phosphoria Formation.
  • Drilling was briefly paused to replace a transfer case in the program's six-wheel-drive water tanker; the part has been delivered and operations were expected to resume this week.
  • Assays are pending — the company says analytical results will be released when available.
  • The company describes a 6.6-kilometre phosphate bed at Murdock Mountain, with additional applications covering a potential strike of more than 30 kilometres, near highway access toward Montello/Elko and a rail head.

A fertilizer mineral doing critical-minerals work

Phosphate is better known as a fertilizer input than a headline metal, but sedimentary rock phosphate sits at the base of the food supply chain — and this project is being advanced as an organic-certifiable source, which the company says is the only known large-scale project of its kind in North America.

The exploration logic is deliberately plain: a flat-lying sedimentary bed is tested by systematic step-outs, each hole confirming or trimming strike, thickness and grade controls. MM26-11 is not a discovery swing; it is the next measurement in a grid designed to turn a mapped horizon into a defined resource over time.

One caveat, kept visible

No grades accompany this update — MM26-11 has only just started, and the program's value will be set by assays, not collar announcements. Strike length alone does not establish thickness, grade or recoverability. The pending lab results from this and prior holes are the data point that matters, and they have not arrived yet.
