Florida Canyon's ramp is now three quarters long. Integra Resources reported on October 22 that its Florida Canyon Mine in Nevada produced 17,652 ounces of gold in the third quarter of 2026 — up 8% on the second quarter and 40% on the first — as mining and stacking rates set another record at the heap leach operation.
- Production: 17,652 ounces of gold produced in Q3 2026 (16,760 ounces sold), taking year-to-date production to 46,666 ounces. Full-year guidance of 70,000 to 75,000 ounces is maintained.
- Record mining rates: about 9.0 million total tonnes mined in the quarter at an average of 97,428 tonnes per day — 5.35 million tonnes of ore and 3.61 million tonnes of waste at a strip ratio of 0.68, down 16% on Q2 and 48% on Q1.
- More rock onto the pads: ore mined rose 21% quarter over quarter and ore placed on the heap leach pads rose 25%, to 5.21 million tonnes in Q3 (3.32 million tonnes direct to pads plus 1.89 million tonnes crushed).
- Grade up, recovery down: processed grade rose to 0.25 g/t gold (up 9% on Q2, 32% on Q1), while the blended gold recovery rate eased to 52.5% in Q3 from 58.5% across the first half — Integra attributes the dip to a greater share of run-of-mine ore, which recovers less than crushed ore.
- Balance sheet: cash and cash equivalents of $119.5 million at September 30, 2026. Q3 financial results follow after market close on November 11, 2026.
Where the growth is coming from
This is a tonnes story. President and CEO George Salamis tied the production growth directly to record tonnes mined increasing the ounces stacked on the leach pads, with processed grades improving steadily through the year at the same time. The site priority he named is the Central Pit pre-stripping campaign, aimed at improved access to higher-grade ore in 2027 — the Central Pit is expected to deliver the higher-grade feed that supports production in the coming years, with strategic investment at Florida Canyon continuing into 2027 at an expected lower rate.
Beyond Nevada production, the same release keeps Integra's two development assets on the clock: the DeLamar Project in southwestern Idaho is being progressed through permitting toward a final investment decision expected in the second half of 2027, and economic studies and pre-permitting continue at the Nevada North Project in western Nevada.
The honesty box
These are interim operational figures; Integra states the financial information is preliminary and subject to completion of its quarterly reporting process, with full Q3 financials due in November. Production growth percentages are quarter-over-quarter comparisons off a ramping operation's low early-year base — Q1 was the ramp's starting point, not a steady-state quarter. The recovery decline is real and disclosed: more run-of-mine placement means a lower blended recovery (52.5% in Q3), and the company says the stacking and blending strategy is being monitored and refined at the higher mining rates. Guidance of 70,000 to 75,000 ounces against 46,666 ounces produced through three quarters implies a strong fourth quarter is still required — roughly 23,300 to 28,300 ounces — which is a target, not a result.
What to watch
The November 11 financial results, whether Q4 mining rates hold near the Q3 record, the recovery rate as the crushed-to-run-of-mine blend evolves, and Central Pit pre-stripping progress toward 2027's higher-grade feed.
